Role
As a Workday Extend Consultant, you will be responsible for helping clients extend and customize their Workday solutions using Workday Extend, which is a platform that allows clients to build custom applications and integrations. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide guidance on best practices, configuration, and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and design custom Workday Extend solutions
- Develop, test, and deploy custom Workday Extend applications and integrations
- Advise clients on industry best practices for custom application development and integrations with Workday
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution for client requests and incidents related to Workday Extend solutions
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations for clients and stakeholders
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including client demonstrations, proposals, and scoping sessions
- Maintain knowledge of Workday Extend updates and new features and recommend enhancements to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Workday HCM implementation and configuration or similar experience in other related technologies like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite etc.
- Strong knowledge of application development and integration best practices
- Experience with Workday Extend and familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed
Certifications
- Workday Extend certification is preferred, but not required.
